Christian Lacroix exhibition in Singapore

It's Christian Lacroix. He of the magnicifent detailing and opulent designs, so intricately beautiful and inspiring.

Some of the dresses included in the exhibition.
Parisian flair
Spanish madness
The details in the fabric
Green tutu dress
that last one looks like the inspiration for Serena's green dress she modeled in that one episode

The National Museum of Singapore is hosting a small exhibition of some of Lacroix's costumes he designed for operas. Now, I don't particularly adore musicals, but when I do catch them on stage, the costumes and styling is one that I usually take note of. His designs for these operas are really quite breathtaking.

If you are in Singapore anytime now till the 7th of June, stop on by the museum and see these pieces of work up close. Pictures are afterall, a mere trifling capture of the luxurious magnificence of Lacroix's creations. $8 for adults, students go in free (upon showing a valid student card).
